Puesto #1 Davey Moore era un boxeador que murió luego de un combate con Sugar Ramos, un cubano, en la canción Bob Dylan critica al boxeo y a todos los involucrados, primero al arbitro que no paro la pelea, después a los espectadores que querían ver sangre, luego a su manager, que se excime de la culpa diciendo que no sabia que estaba enfermo, luego a los periodistas, y finalmente a su oponente que se justifica diciendo que solo es su trabajo.

Podemos observar que en toda la canción nadie intenta hacerse cargo de la muerte, por lo que Bob culpa al boxeo en si.
