Claro que, cuando tienes fama de ser un tipo dulce que escribe baladas tiernas, es de esperar que la gente escuche este beat y esa voz y piense que se trata de un hombre nostálgico que quiere regresar a casa con su amada.
Pero la realidad es que Collins, que tuvo sus inicios en un Genesis liderado por Peter Gabriel, que era más bien oscuro, se inspiró en la novela One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, que habla sobre un paciente de manicomio. Es decir, esta baladita no tiene nada de romántica, sino que trata sobre lidiar con enfermedades mentales.
