Pues resulta que Sharona no es ni un modelo de coche, ni una marca de whisky, ni un adjetivo: Sharona era una chica de 17 años de la que Doug Fieger, cantante del grupo, se enamoró cuando él tenía ya 25 añazos. Sharona se hizo la novia de Fieger durante los 4 años siguientes. Parece que The Knack apoyaba el dicho "si el césped ha crecido, que comience el partido".
