Uno de los mitos urbanos relacionados con el rock que más tiempo dieron vueltas en Estados Unidos. Según su interpretación, es la historia de una mujer que se suicidó tirándose de un balcón en el edificio en el que vivía Petty. Según su propio autor, es simplemente una composición inspirada en las primeras impresiones de su llegada a California después de mudarse desde Florida.
