Puesto #1 Todo un zar del horror y el shock rock en los 80, King Diamond llevó este subgénero al siguiente nivel con sus letras tenebrosas y su puesta en escena. Desde el punto de vista sonoro, Abigail tiene mucho en común con el progressive rock de finales de los 80. Pero su espanto radica en la historia de una esposa poseída por un espíritu llamado Abigail, y por supuesto las diferentes voces de King Diamond interpretando varios personajes.
