Puesto #1 ¿Sabes que esta canción trata sobre sexo anal? ¡Alucina! Hasta ahora pensábamos que la letra eran palabras sin sentido sobre un ritmo pegadizo:"A whop bop-a-lu-mop, a whop bam boo. Tutti frutti, oh Rudy". Eso no fue lo que escribió originalmente Little Richard, aquí esta la original:

En aquella época Richard era gay, a pesar que en sus últimos años declaró que había dejado de serlo. Además Tutti-Frutti en argot significa "gay".
